Carmelo Anthony might Likely be Out for the Rest of the Season

No surprise here. Carmelo Anthony's season is "very likely" over. After re-injuring his left knee against the Heat earlier this week, he revealed that he was going to seriously consider
sitting out the remainder of the 2014-15 NBA season. And now, he has admitted that he's probably going to spend the rest of the year on the sideline after playing "a couple minutes" during the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday.
"It's very likely," he said on ESPN Radio. "Now I've got to start thinking about the future. This season is this season. So I really want to just sit down with my team and sit down with the proper people to just kind of plan this thing out and see exactly what I have to do to get done and just fix it."
Carmelo hasn't decided whether or not he's going to have surgery to repair his knee. But he did say that his goal is to be 100 percent healthy by the time training camp starts next fall.
"That's why if anything was to get done, I want to get it done right away so I'm not taking time and missing training camp and things like that," he said. "When I come back to training camp, I want to be sharp."
